Haven't gotten a pizza from them in a long time. They had changed the sauce or not cooked it long enough and I kept on getting sick from it. Heard from a couple of friends there was someone else who has taken over the management and a new cook (I believe it's all still family) and decided to order again. The pizza was AWESOME! Ordered a 16", combo, light on the pepperoni and added mushrooms. Asked for well done! Pizza was PERFECT! Will start ordering again from here!
I've always loved Bruno's. Sweet sauce, similar to red rose. great crust and great toppings. No bitterness. For some perspective just look at what red rose pizza in spfld gets for reviews. Only 4 stars! And they have consistently been good for decades.
